Dangerous Wonder

Kyle finally has a job! He is starting work with a consulting firm called Incline Network here in town on April 2nd. For the first 90 days or so he will be just "contract labor" as he figures out the business and such. After that there is an opportunity for him to join the business as a partner. He is excited to do this job as it allows him some independence and time for hobbies (political involement). It will involve some travel, but after having him home constantly for 3-4 months I don't think I'll mind the breaks too much. Besides once the kiddos are older it will mean I will get to travel too! I can't describe exactly all that Kyle will do as he hasn't fully figured it out himself, but basically people pay him for his opinions. More specifically his opinions on how Christians think and what Christians want. With Kyle's experience working for the NAE he has a lot of contacts into the Christian world and this job seems to be the perfect fit for him. It is also allowing me to quit work, which we are aiming for by the start of June. I am excited to have the summer to do things on our house, take Dean to the pool, and basically enjoy the weather before getting "big pregnant" again! Thanks for all of your prayers over the last few months. They have been heard and we have been well taken care of!

If you haven't noticed the little image on the side of this blog yet.....we are expecting our second child in October! The image to the left keeps track of "pumpkin's" development and my gestation. We were surprised by this news ourselves, but are blessed by this gift from God. Daddy and Dean are praying for a little brother, I will be happy with whatever!

Today was such a beautiful day that I drug my unemployed husband and son to the park! Actually they went quite happily. Dean is becoming so much fun to interact with and though he can't run around like the "big kids", he loves to swing, slide and feed the geese/ducks. We realized that we don't have any summer hats that fit Dean so he ended up wearing one of Daddy's bandanas. Too cute! Enjoy the pictures!

Kyle's sister Jen had the sixth Fisk grandchild on Mar 5th after a much easier and more relaxed delivery then her first. Colm Michael is cute and so peaceful! We all went over to their house on Wed to celebrate and meet the little guy. While there we took the opportunity to get a pic of all 6 cousins together! What a riot!
